Pretty in Purple

Posted by:

This gorgious pepper finds it's origin in the US. The rather short season and smaller plant makes it ideal to grow in containers. With it's amazing hue of purplish leaves and vibrant purple to red peppers, it is an eye catcher for sure and an addition to any garden or, albeit sunny, windowsill.

The pepper has roughly the same heat as a Jalapeno pepper and is ideal to use in the kitchen. They have a fine peppery taste to them but don't have a distinctive unique flavor as other peppers would have.
