Description
The Poblano is a common variety of pepper that I'm surprised to find hasn't been posted on this site yet. The poblano pods can get up to a staggering 460 g however that is the world record. The pods are usually eaten green and have a mild heat but are said to be slightly hotter when ripe. They can also be referred to as ancho poblano.
