This is the Indian pepper that gives Indian food it's coloring. The pepper is thin fleshed and very mild. They start green and turn to a deep red color. For tradition Indian cooking, these peppers are dried. The plant can grow to several feet in height an have an abundance of peppers. These peppers are not hot but have a mild, fruity flavor.
