This pepper has been around for a very long time. It originated somewhere in South America but research doesn't indicate a country of origin. The plant will grow to a height of 1-2 feet so it is a rather small plant. The peppers will grow to 2-3 inches long with a slightly curved shape and turn from green to yellow when ripe. It is sweet with a flavor similar to that of a bell and it can have from 0 up to 500 SHU. This pepper is commonly pickled or stuffed. It is also very easy to grow.
