Avalanche is an open pollinated white beetroot with a sweet mild flavour. The creamy white root have all the sweetness of a normal beat root and no bitterness. They are perfect for slicing or adding to soups and can be enjoyed sautéed as a side dish. They also don't leave any stains on your chopping board like other beets.
