Description

A red flesh melon. Called Ancient melon due to it's seeds being discovered in a cave in Arizona by a man named Art Combe, a South Western plant expert. The seeds were believed to be hundreds of years old. A few were successfully germinated and the melon had a distinctive neck similar to a crooked neck squash. As you can see, that feature has unfortuately been selected out of the melon that is available today. My melons grew to an average of 10 pounds and were very sweet.
