This pepper is one of the sweetest found. It has a thick skin and is great for cooking. The flavor of the pepper is almost like a fruity tomato but it doesn't have the aftertaste of a bell. We no longer use bells but have switched to this pepper. The pepper can grow as large as 4 inches long and 3 inches in diameter and will turn a bright red when ripe. The plant will grow to 3 feet in height. Research indicates that the origin of this pepper is Hungary.
