This is one of the hottest peppers in the world. It is native to the district of Moruga in Trinidad and Tobago. The plant can grow to 5 feet tall. The pepper itself has a nice fruity flavor until the heat hits which keeps building. The plant does not tolerate near freezing temperature and will die off. I have never had any success over-wintering this variety.
