This is a very hard to find variety developed by ARS and was scheduled to be released in 2010. After 2010 it seems to disolve in time. I have personally been searching for this specific species for a few years now. The foliage is a deep black, similar to Black Pearl but the fruits are a unique shape resembling an upside down pumpkin. The fruits ripen from black to orange. In contrast to the black leaves this plant is very pleasing to the eye. Said to be around 5,000 SHU. This plant is on the top of my want list.
