Description
Originally cultivated in India, this pepper held the record for hottest pepper in the world from 2007 to 2010. Standing at a whopping 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce, this pepper must always be handled with gloves and extreme caution. Rightfully earning its name of a Superhot pepper, the ghost pepper tops out at about 1,000,000 SHU.
