This may be the world's darkest tomato. It was developed by Brad Gates and made available in 2015 by crossing Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye and Indigo Apple varieties. The tops of the tomatoes are very dark and the bottoms turn a dark red when ripe.  They taste as good as they look and store well. These tomatoes produced very large first fruits but got smaller as the season progressed. Fruits are ready to harvest 80 days from transplant.
