Description
This awesome plant grows well in-ground or in containers especially with a trellis or rail for it to climb vertically. Sow seeds directly and watch this thing shoot out of the ground. The fruits are great for pickling when they're smaller (4-6 inches) and are delicious when eaten fresh when larger (9-12 inches). They have small spikes which can easily be removed with a sponge under running water.

What are the cons? Requires either hand or bee pollination.
Review:Very easy to grow cucumber that can be used in a variety of ways. Bees make the journey all the way up to a 10th floor balcony to pollinate this plant. If you don't have bees in your area you will have to hand pollinate the female flowers with pollen from the make flowers which can be tedious. Overall a great cucumber for beginners or novices alike!
