Description

Brassica oleracea ssp. oleraracea convar. botrytis

This cauliflower is a good variety for beginners. It is easy to grow from seed and if you do not harvest the head too low and leave the plant in the ground, it will produce little sideshoots that you can harvest later on.

It is a very old variety, originating from Italy, with a purple head.

Seeding indoors: from march

Seeding outdoors: from middle of april

Germination temperature: 15 - 20 °C

Seeding depth: 1 cm

Plant spacing: 50 × 50 cm
