This is a Burpee variety but the plants in the picture are F1 because they are self-saved seeds from two years ago. No noticeable heat, contrary to Burpee's description. The pods grow rather large for a variety in which pods tend to grow more vertically than those that dangle. Great substitute for a bell pepper, especially when you don't have much growing area! 

Note: The plants in the picture are not that prolific because they were kept in partial sun and were attacked by locusts until late in the season.
