A currently rare ground cherry which fruits faster/earlier than other varieties. The original seed came from fruit purchased by Baker Creek at a roadside stand in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, some years ago by the Experimental Farm Network’s Nate Kleinman. Plant has a very low profile and sprawls around 4 feet. Fruits are consistantly on the larger side and sweeter than other varieties.
