Vates, also goes by the name 'Blue Vates' or Curly Blue Vates', is a ver vigorous type of kale. Grows for a long period of time and easily creates 'Kale Trees' as you harvest from the bottom. Features a typical kale taste, but is yet sweet when picked when cold (mornings are best). Very easy to grow and seeds are viable for many years. Open Polinated. Considered dwarf, but grown up to 3 feet in favorable conditions.
