Description

This is a really beautiful pepper with purple flowers and colorful peppers. The peppers start out with a purple color and go through states of yellow, orange and finally become red when they are fully ripe. The plant stays quite small (expected height about 60cm or 2ft) and is ideal for growing in containers or on a balcony. They need little water and lots of sunlight (6 hours or more of direct sunlight). The seeds germinate best between 22°C-28°C or 71°F-82°F and they take about 8-21 days to do so. The plants grow best in fertile, well-draining soil. Their SHU is 5,000-15,000 so I'd say most pepper lovers can just pinch them right off the stem and enjoy their delicious taste.
