This variety is one of Khang Starr's cross breeds. By crossing a Scotch Bonnet with a Thai Pepper Khang created an elongated pepper with a distinct bump in the center. Heat level is said to be around Scotch Bonnet. This plant is very productive, giving loads of pepper ripening from green to black and finishing at red. The foliage of this plant is a darker color making it a great candidate for an ornamental pepper.
